Step 1: Load
The team sets up with six stunt groups in a line, loading in for Preps. The second and fifth stunt groups face front and load in with a Toe Pitch.
Preps & Connect
All six groups should be facing inward as they perform their Preps. Once the Preps are stable, the four inside groups then connect arms to shoulders. The second and fifth flyers turn to center.
Arabesques
Once the groups are connected, the second and fifth groups dip on a designated count, and extend the flyers so they can hit Arabesques. Outside Preps should support the flyers' ankles, while the flyers in the Arabesques should support themselves lightly on the inside bases' shoulders.
Throw to Swedish Falls
On a designated count, the second and fifth stunt groups dip again, popping the flyers up into the air and releasing their feet as the flyers kick up into a Swedish Fall. The flyers' hands should still be gripping the middle Preps' shoulders, while supporting their own weight, and the outside Preps should still be gripping the flyers' extended leg.
This stunt is legal only if the flyers pass through the Swedish Fall position. If the flyers hold the position on top, showing weight-bearing contact, it will be illegal at the high school level.
Hitch Pyramid
After passing through the Swedish Fall position, the bases then catch the two flyers' feet in a Liberty grip. All outside stunt groups should turn to face forward after the Libs have been caught. Then on a designated count, the second and fifth groups should hit a Hitch motion with their outside legs, to finish up the pyramid.
This pyramid is approved by the USASF for Levels 4 and 5
