Step 1: Set
FLYER: Start with your feet together. Arms should be above your head and slightly bent, gripping your back spot's hands in a handshake grip. BASES: Start with your inside arms on the flyer's lower back or hip, and your outside arms on the back of her upper legs (as if you're going to spot a back handspring). BACK SPOT: Reach up and grab the flyer's hands in a handshake grip. Arms should be above your head and slightly bent. Legs should be staggered one in front of the other.
Step 2: Rewind
FLYER: On the designated count, jump up and into a back tuck. Make sure you don't throw your head backward or you could injure your [UNBOLD: back spot.] At the top of the flip, lock out your arms so that your back spot can push you upward to give you more height and control for your landing.
BASES: On the designated count, boost the flyer up and into the back flip. Your inside hand (on her back) should give her height and your outside hand (on her leg) should help her to rotate. Once you've tossed her into the flip, keep your eyes and arms up and wait for her to finish her rotation.
BACK SPOT: Don't let go of the [UNBOLD: flyer's hands!] Follow the flyer through her flip, and at the top, push her upward. When she locks out her arms at the top, she will use your push for more height, and you will have more control on the landing. Make sure that when the flyer is coming down from her flip, that she travels in front of your body and not on top of or behind you.
Step 3: Catch & Regrip
FLYER: Keep your feet together as you land in your bases' hands, and keep your hands close to your hips with your arms locked out. Your back spot will help you slow down your landing. Make sure that you keep your chest up and body tight. Once your bases have caught your feet, release your grip with your back spotter and grab onto your bases' shoulders, lifting up your left foot slightly so that your bases can grip your foot for a Liberty.
BASES: As the flyer completes her rotation, stay close, and grab for her feet and grip them at waist level. Take a second bounce and grab the flyer's right foot in a Liberty grip.
BACK SPOT: As the flyer completes her rotation, slow down her momentum and lower her into the bases' hands. On the second bounce, help place her hands on the bases' shoulders and then grab the flyer's foot in a Liberty grip (right hand around her ankle and left hand under her seat).
Step 4: Bow & Arrow
FLYER: Push off the bases' shoulders and ride straight up to a Liberty. At the top of the stunt, kick your leg up for a Bow-N-Arrow. Make sure to point your toe once your leg is extended.
BASES: Using your legs, drive the flyer straight up into a Liberty. Make sure that you give her a solid platform to stand on as she pulls her Bow-N-Arrow.
BACK SPOT: Boost the flyer up to the top of the Liberty with your left hand and follow through with your right hand on her ankle. At the top, grab as high as you can to help her balance.
Step 5: Scale
FLYER: As your bases and back spot take a quarter turn to the right, stay tight as you transition into your Scale. Keep your chest up and make sure your extended leg stays straight.
BASES & BACK SPOT: Once the flyer has hit her Bow-N-Arrow, take a quarter turn to the right on a designated count. Keep your arms locked out and steady as the flyer transitions into her Scale.
